Advanced Control Systems in co-operation with Kaldera company from Laktaši, Bosnia and Hercegovina - Republika Srpska, has won public tender and is expected to sign a contract for reconstruction of relay protection and protection control system on mini-hydroelectric power plant (*MHE*) "*Vlasenica*", located near the village of Gornji Zalukovik, Republika Srpska. The total amount of works to be executed by the ACS values approximately 40.000 EUR and it comprises reconstruction of relay protection and SCADA control systems on 35kV and 10kV power cells. By continuing its operations in hydro-power plants field, that started with reconstruction tasks at "Vrla 3" and "Vrla 4" power plants, ACS expects to acknowledge its presence at the MHE niche which is considered to be one of the most perspective shares of energy market in the south-east Europe today. MHE "Vlasenica" is one of the first hydro power plants in Bosnia and Hercegovina, it was built sixty years ago on Studeni Jadar river. Its rated output is 2x650 kVA. As an interesting detail it should also be stressed that this facility had been designed by famous Yugoslav engineering experts, Mr. Jaroslav Czerny and Mr. Mikulec, back in 1947. Today many facilities and research institutes bear their names.
